Registrations to “tell your story” are closing on 30 September 2016.
More than 5,500 private sessions have been held and around 1,500 people are currently waiting for a private session. Due to this demand, the Royal Commission will close registrations for private sessions on 30 September 2016.
Royal Commission Forum to be held in Warrnambool on the 17th June, 530pm -730pm. The forum will be hosted by Commissioner Jennifer Coate and is supported by The Gunditjmara Aboriginal Cooperative and the South Western Centre Against Sexual Assault. The Coalition of Aboriginal Services’ (the Coalition), in consultation with Victorian Aboriginal community members at a recent community forum, have written a response to the Royal Commission’s consultation paper on redress and civil litigation. Please be advised the response paper is currently subject to further changes should any feedback be received before final submission is due to the Royal Commission. The submission is due Monday 9th of March, 2015, lunch time. Therefore we would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have on the paper to be submitted to us by COB Wednesday 4th of March, 2015.
